Madi campus, established in 2053 BS has grown over its size, academic programs, physical structure and human resource in terms of its quality. The growing number of students in bachelors and master level, the different program comprising few specialization subjects for choice option, the prime location of the campus and its attractive physical structure and competent, experienced and qualified faculties are the strength of the campus. The campus has the access to the masses of the students from the weaker section of society who are vulnerable in all sphere. The girls, disadvantaged group, Dalits, indigenous, marginalized, Marty’s family and other people have easy access to Madi campus to higher education as it has made some special provision for these groups for better engagement and ownership. The betterment and development of the campus directly orients and its benefits are distributed to the weaker section of society. The campus was started with academic programs of PCL in Education as the extension program of Saptagandaki Multiple campus, Bharatpur, Chitwan in 2053 BS and it has been running up to 2o57 B.S. campus got the +2 program affiliation from higher secondary education Board in 2058 BS. Madi campus also got the affiliation for academic programs three years B.Ed. (Now known as four years B.Ed. program) in 2057 BS and three years BBS (Now known as four years BBS) program in 2063. From the academic year 2075/076, it got affiliation to run M.Ed. program with specialization courses on English and population. Currently, it run the programs in morning and evening shifts and about 151 students have been enrolled under different streams. The major academic programs run by campus are as under: 1. Bachelor of Business Studies (BBS) four years program. 2. Bachelor of Education (B. Ed) four-year program. 3. Master in Education (M.Ed.) semester-wise program. Thought, it started the classes from the rented rooms of Madi secondary school, now it has two large two storied buildings consisting of 22 well spacious ventilated rooms that can accommodate around 200 students in a shift. Out of above mentioned rooms, one is well decorated and facilitated seminar hall, one is staff room, two rooms are consumed by the account and library, remaining two rooms are consumed by management committee meeting hall and campus chief’s section, One room is consumed by well facilitated computer lab and other room are using for daily classroom. There is proper provision of canteen, modern cycle stand and indoor and outdoor sports accommodation in the campus. It has recently constructed a facilitated rest room for boys and girls in the grants of public campus promotional program of province No. 3, Nepal Government. Madi Campus has formulated a statute in consideration with rules and regulation of Tribhuvan University. The organization structure and actions of the campus have been guided by this statute. The campus statute has mentioned a provision of campus assembly and management committee. The management committee governs and directs the campus operation. It is formed complying the rules and regulation of Tribhuvan University. Members of the committee are selected from campus assembly composed of guardians, social workers, teachers, students and business community. The Management committee delegates authority to campus chief to manage the day activities ot the campus as fulltime executive. The management committee consists of 21 members which formulated both short term and long term plan and policies. There is an assistant campus chief, a degree program coordinator. Two department heads and one teaching practice head.
